But, in order to do that—I have to go through my beef and potato husband who is never thrilled when I say chicken is on the menu.
It’s just not his jam.
But that’s changing…slowly—but surely…that’s changing.

Well, it’s all in the sauce.
A delicious sauce thickly applied to a seasoned chicken breast is the ultimate weapon when it comes to weeknight meal planning.
The best thing? It doesn’t take very long—or require too many ingredients—to whip up a sauce that’s finger-lickin’ good. This steakhouse style sauce is only five ingredients.

What You Need To Make Steakhouse BBQ Chicken:
◉ Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
◉ Ketchup
◉ Steak Sauce
◉ Apple Cider Vinegar
◉ Brown Sugar
◉ Garlic Powder
◉ Onion Powder
◉ Seasoned Salt
◉ Black Pepper
◉ Olive Oil
◉ Butter
How To Make Steakhouse BBQ Chicken:
Step one—Preheat oven to 400 degree.
Step two—Slice chicken breasts through the middle but not separating the meat—a butterfly cut.
Step three—In a ziploc bag, toss chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder; place chicken in a baking dish.
Step four—Place chicken in the oven, turn the heat down to 375 degree, and bake for 30 minutes.
Step five—Melt butter; whisk melted butter, ketchup, steak sauce, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar together.
Step six—Spread sauce on chicken and bake for an additional 15 minutes; broil for five minutes—until BBQ sauce is bubbly!

- 1/4 cup steak sauce
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tbsp seasoned salt
- 1/2 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp butter
