Chili in the Blink of An Eye
For over 100 years, Campbell’s has been offering up delicious cans of pork and beans—the website claims there’s bites of pork in the can but, at most, there’s a few nibbles. No matter—the flavor is all there. And—come to find out—it’s the perfect base for chili.
The best thing about this recipe—aside from the flavor—is that there’s only two and a half steps. So it’s perfect for those days when you either have a lot to do or just don’t feel like being in the kitchen for all that long.
You cook your bacon.
Simmer the pork and beans, beef franks, and jalapenos with the spices.
And, finally, you crumble the bacon on top of your serving.
Want to do even less? Use bacon bits.
Want to take it to the net level? Load it up with shredded cheese!
What Should You Serve With Spicy Chili Pork and Beans with Bacon and Jalapeno?
Some people eat their chili with cornbread.
Some people eat their chili scooped on top of spaghetti noodles.
Some people eat their chili with cinnamon rolls.
Any of the three sound good to me!
